Wednesday Morning Seminars at Sutton Hoo, December 2008 - April 2009.

An exploration of the tales of heroism, history, wonder and wisdom preserved in Old English and Old Icelandic manuscripts. 

We are currently following Snorri Sturluson’s great book of Norse kings' sagas known as Heimskringla (“Home’s Little Ring”), and related saga, verse, and chronicle narratives  

Seminars are held at the National Trust Visitors' Centre at Sutton Hoo, usually in the big house overlooking the River Deben

(please park in the main car park and stroll across)
